Why we need ID
Examples of situations which require identity verification include someone claiming to no longer have access to an account and requesting our help in accessing it, or someone wanting to change which Steam account a Last Epoch account is linked to.
We need to ensure that we are not helping someone perform account theft. To do so, we request a scan of a government-issued photo ID to verify your identity.
Examples of ID we accept
- Passports
- Drivers licenses, permits, and learner's permits
- Military photo ID cards
Examples of ID we cannot accept
- Any form of ID which has expired
- Library cards
- School ID cards
- Gym ID cards
- Workplace ID cards
- Public transport ID
