Empowered Timelines are harder versions of normal Timelines that start with 100 Corruption, and have no maximum Corruption. This means that Empowered Timelines can be scaled in difficulty until your character can no longer handle the difficulty and is unable to progress further.

Increasing Corruption increases the damage dealt and health of all enemies, and grants increased experience gained and increased item rarity.

Each Timeline has an Exclusive Echo Reward type that makes it easier to target farm those specific item types, and in Empowered Monoliths these are much more likely to spawn as rewards.

Defeating the boss of an Empowered Timeline will grant 1 stack of Gaze of Orobyss.
