If your cosmetics (skins, pets, titles, or wings) keep resetting after logging out, changing scenes, or simply won't equip at all, this is usually caused by a corrupted local cosmetics save file. Follow the steps below to resolve it.
Step 1: Back up and delete the corrupted files (Windows PC)
- Go to C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch\
- Make a copy of the online_cosmetic_data_equips.json file and place it in a different location as a backup.
- Make a copy of the owned_cosmetics.json file and place it in a different location as a backup.
- Delete both original files from the folder.
- Relaunch the game. Google Cloud Sync will generate new files and resolve the corrupted data.
Step 2: If cosmetics still won't equip after the above steps
- Make sure you're logged into the correct account that owns the cosmetics.
- Try equipping the cosmetic from the cosmetics menu while in the main hub area, not during a scene transition.
- If a specific item (such as a wing or pet) still won't equip, note the item name and contact support with your account details.
