A quest is bugged, is there a way around it?

'Journey to Maj'elka' won't progress

[Speak with Yulia.]
- Talking to Yulia - You can still progress to the next area despite the quest not updating! To the right of Yulia, there is a portal that will send you to Maj'elka
[Speak with Soreth’ka Nagasa]
- Talking to Saazhar - You can enter Crossroads and go completely north, defeat the Osprix' there and the quest will advance

Can't access the Rune Door (The Council Chambers)

Please return to the Lower District and fight the Boss. This will trigger the portal to the End of Time so you can choose your Mastery, which will then allow you to dispel the Rune Door.

'The Immortal Empire - Elder Gaspar'

Talk to Elder Gaspar - If you cannot complete the ‘Talk to Elder Gaspar’ step, then please try these two options
- Open your map, select Imperial Era and travel to The Outcast Camp. This should automatically complete the Quest that is broken.
- Please complete 'The Ruined World' Quest before talking to Elder Gaspar.

'Long Detour' Quest/Balthas Bugged

Cannot talk to Keeper Guard
- If you leave this area before talking to the guard when Balthas is originally kidnapped, you won't be able to talk to her when returning as to be able to talk to her is part of the scene "progression”. To fix this, please retrace the previous Quest steps making sure you talk to the Keeper Guard before leaving the area.

Speak with Keeper Balthas

After saving Keeper Balthas from Haruspex Orian and talking to him in Keepers Camp, this completes the 'The Shard' Quest.

Sometimes however, after the Quest completes and the animation plays, the player is not correctly transported to the Crumbling Ruins in the Ruined Era.

Players can open the map (M) and manually teleport there as the Waypoint for the Crumbling Ruins unlocks when The Shard Quest completes.

'Sanity in the Darkness'

This Quest can bug for multiple reasons, so we have a few workarounds:

The Quest can be completed only after doing the first 2 Quests in The Ruined World questline and returning to the Cultist Camp, where you’re finally able to turn it in.
Go back to Town and restarting the game. It should reset the Quest state to a point where you can do it.
Try going back to the Welryn Undercity and re-entering the Cultist Camp from here.
The issue might be that the Quest “Sanity in the Darkness” shows the wrong Map location for where it needs to be completed. It points to Cultist Camp, while the remaining task needs to be completed in Ruins of Welryn.

Infinite Load Screen when attempting Quest Echo

There is a known, not consistent, issue where attempting to load a Quest Echo immediately after loading Last Epoch can cause an infinite loading screen. We do have a workaround for this! If you enter a NON Quest Echo first - you don’t need to complete it - then load a Quest Echo, it should load as normal!

The Immortal Empire - Seer/Outcasts

Talk to the Seer
- If this step is failing to progress, please make sure you have lowered the bridge. It is possible to skip doing this which will halt quest progress. To lower the Bridge return to The Risen Lake area and complete this step.

Liath's Tower teleported me back

This can have a few causes:

Double check all mobs are dead as sometimes they fail to load correctly.
Minions can also trigger the zone transition so ensure they have despawned before progressing.
