If you run into this error there are a couple steps to try that may resolve it for you:

• Reinstall C++ Redistributables
  • You can do so by downloading it directly from the Windows Microsoft site.
• Add -dx11 to launch options for Last Epoch

  1. Right click on Last Epoch in Steam

     

  2. Go to Properties

     

  3. In the gray box under "Launch options" type in: -dx11
